Transform your space

Many qualifying feature walls can be installed in as little as 1 day.

Design and visualization happen first, so by the time we arrive the panels are fabricated and the lighting is planned. Larger interior projects receive a custom schedule at approval.

How it works

Consult. Design. Visualize. Build.

  1. Walnut, plaster, bronze and felt samples on a black table

    Consult

    Tell us about the space.

A short consultation, a few photos, and a site review. We measure, listen, and give you a clear next step before any design work begins.

  2. Elevation drawing of a slat wall on a studio desk beside walnut and bronze samples

    Design

    Conceptualize with purpose.

We develop the materials, proportions, architectural details and visual direction that define the space.

  3. Design visualization of a restaurant feature wall before construction

    Visualize

See it before we build it.

Provide clients with design concepts or visual representations that allow them to understand the transformation before installation.

  4. Walnut slats being installed on a restaurant wall

    Build

    Precision execution.

Our build process turns the approved concept into a finished architectural feature with careful attention to craftsmanship and detail.

The full seven-step process

One-day feature wall installation

Designed first. Built in a day.

Many qualifying feature walls can be installed in as little as 1 day. Panels are fabricated in the shop to your approved visualization, so the on-site day is placement, lighting and finish, not guesswork.

Qualifying walls: single feature walls with standard access and no structural or electrical changes. Larger interior projects receive a custom schedule at approval.

Marques is a linebacker turned builder. Five seasons at Georgia Southern made him the 2024 Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Year; a final season in the Big Ten at Nebraska closed the playing chapter.

What carried over is the routine: study before practice, preparation before performance, and a standard for detail that does not move. Focal ATL Design is that routine applied to rooms, from the first site visit to the reveal.

Addie brings together more than a decade of corporate leadership, real estate experience and a natural eye for design to FOCAL ATL. Her career was built in the precision-driven world of finance, where strategy, sound judgment and attention to detail were essential. Real estate later became the canvas for her creativity, allowing her to reimagine properties and turn overlooked spaces into something intentional and memorable.

Her strength is seeing what others may not see yet, the potential in a space, the detail that changes it, and the idea that can become its defining feature. At FOCAL ATL, Addie brings that combination of vision and strategy to the creative direction of the brand and every project it takes on.

Creative direction, brand and client experience

Focal ATL Design was built around a simple belief: when you can clearly visualize what a space can become, you can build something extraordinary.

Co-founder Marques Watson Trent brings the same discipline, competitiveness, attention to detail and commitment to execution that shaped his journey as an elite athlete into the world of design and construction.

What began with a vision to create unforgettable spaces is growing into something much bigger: a design-build company focused on transforming homes, restaurants, businesses and commercial environments throughout Georgia.

For Marques, Focal is about more than walls. It’s about creating spaces people remember, building relationships that last, and developing a company capable of setting a new standard for interior transformation.
